Menus at Old Lodge Hotel

Evening restaurant menu October 2011

At the Old Lodge, we have a monthly chefs’ competition menu from which you can make your evening dining choice.
You can choose to sit in either the Bar or the Restaurant, and if you like water with your meal,
you can choose from mineral still, mineral fizzy or Malton tap.
The winners of our September menu challenge were Mark's goat's cheese, basil and sundried tomato potato cake AND Rory's black pudding with scallops for the starters, followed by Mark's boneless duck main course and Rory's Cointreau profiteroles as a dessert.

If you are a vegetarian and can’t find anything that you would like to eat on our restaurant menu,
our Chef will be more than happy to create you a vegetarian dish– please do ask.
Finally, if there is any way at all in which our Chefs or staff can make your meal even more enjoyable, you have only to ask!

Why not start your meal with a delicious glass of our award winning house Champagne at £7.50 a glass

You’re welcome to mix and match dishes from this menu, the Bar menu and the specials board.
