Menus at Old Lodge Hotel

The Lodge Evening Restaurant menu, July 2010

At the Old Lodge, we have a monthly chefs’ competition menu from which you can make your evening dining choice. You’re welcome to mix and match between this menu, the Bar menu and the specials board, and you can choose to eat in the Bar or the Restaurant. If you would like more vegetables or gravy, we’ll be happy to bring some, and if you would like water with your meal, you can choose from mineral still, mineral fizzy or Malton tap.

The results of June’s competition show Rory as the leader in the starter section, with his scallops wrapped in Parma ham with lemon oil. Mark was the winner of the main course section, with his pork fillet with sautéed apple slices, and Rory again in the dessert section, with his meringue with fresh fruit and cream.

If there is any way at all in which our Chefs or staff can make your meal even more enjoyable, you have only to ask!
